NURS 1600 - Transition to Professional Nursing

4 Class Hours, 2 Clinical Hours, 6 Contact Hours/Week

This course applies the core concepts that provide the basis for the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that are essential for providing safe nursing care for adults with alterations in health that are primarily chronic in nature. Course is intended for graduates of TCAT LPN programs to help with the transition to professional nursing.  Prerequisite(s): Admission to NSCC Nursing Program as an LPN to RN student from TCAT program.
Co-requisite(s): NURS 1120 and NURS 1340
