HMGT 1800 - Introduction to Event Management

This is an introductory class that will provide the student insight into the industry of special events and the role the meeting and event professional plays in it. Topics include vendors, contracts, fundraising, budgeting, ethics and more. Prerequisite(s): HMGT 1030 with C or higher. A grade of “C” or above in all Hospitality Management courses must be earned prior to graduation.
