SURG 2399 - Special Topics on Surg Tech 3 Credits 9 Lab Hours
A course to address the development of skills and knowledge, and the application of those skills within the field of Surgical Technology. Topics include sterile technique, surgical case management, surgical procedures, incisions, wound healing, operating, pathology, and common applications.
A grade of “C” or above in all Surgical Technology curriculum courses must be earned prior to graduation. Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Surgical Technology Program Co-requisite(s): SURG 1102 , SURG 1410 , SURG 2299 , and SURG 2420 Note: Only students accepted in the Surgical Technology program can enroll in this course.
