OTAP 1210 - Foundations of OT

An introduction to the basic tenets of the occupational therapy profession. Topics include history, philosophy, the OT Practice Framework, the OT process, ethics, role delineation, standards of practice, professional organizations, and evidence-based practice. Prerequisite(s): Admission into the OTA Program, general education course work as per program requirements, or by permission of instructor. Note: Course is offered only online.
