HCMT 2365 - Coding Capstone

A second-year advanced course that applies coding knowledge learned from preceding courses. Required for AAS coding students only. Topics include ICD and CPT code assignments, application of coding guidelines to ensure accurate code assignment and correct code sequencing. Preparation for coding certification will be emphasized. Prerequisite(s): HCMT 2363 with a grade of “C” or higher. Note: Student must maintain a grade of “C” or higher in order to progress in program.
