HCM 2700 - Coding Capstone 3 Credits 3 Class Hours
A second year advanced course that applies coding knowledge learned from preceding courses. Required for all coding students. Topics include ICD and CPT code assignments, application of coding guidelines to ensure accurate code assignment and correct code sequencing. Preparation for coding certification will be emphasized. Prerequisite(s): HCM 2400 and HCM 2500 with a grade of “C” or higher. Student must maintain a grade of “C” or higher in order to progress in program.
