CRMJ 2020 - Introduction to Corrections 3 Credits 3 Class Hours
This course examines the concept of punishment and its form, functions, and enforcement throughout history with an emphasis on the operation, structure, clientele, and issues confronting the institutions, agencies, and programs encompassing the corrections system including jails, prisons, and probation and parole. Prerequisite(s): Completion of all competencies in Learning Support reading and writing.
