CPT 1400 - Digital Systems Interfacing 3 Credits 2 Class Hours, 2 Lab Hours
An introduction to digital technology concepts leading to microprocessor interfacing. Topics include AC/DC electronic concepts, digital number systems, Boolean expressions, integrated circuits, algorithm/flowcharting, assembly language concepts, debugging, creating .com files, output port decoding of PCs, and basic parallel interfacing. Prerequisite(s): Completion of all competencies in Learning Support reading, writing and math.
