CIS 2230 - Database Concepts


3 Credits
2 Class Hours, 2 Lab Hours

An introduction to the concepts and syntax of relational database management systems for microcomputers. Topics include data modeling, database design concepts including normalization, and their application through the creation of tables, queries using both QBE and SQL, forms and reports using the tools provided in a relational DBMS. Prerequisite(s): CIS 1030  with a grade of “C” or higher
