ART 1030 - Art Appreciation*


(Honors Option Offered)

3 Credits
3 Class Hours

Provides students with the opportunity to experience the role art plays in life. Students will learn a descriptive, formal vocabulary while researching significant artists, techniques, periods, and styles. Course focuses on the relationship between art, religion, politics, and society in a variety of cultures. Prerequisite(s): Completion of all Learning Support competencies for reading and writing. Note: ART 1030 meets the general education requirement for Humanities.
