A study of the principles and skills necessary for appropriate and effective communication in today’s organizations. Topics include introduction to communication processes in organizations, leadership, interpersonal principles, listening, nonverbal and verbal communication, conflict, culture, managing group communication and interviewing. Prerequisite(s): SPCH 1010 or SPCH 1112 or instructor permission
