An introduction to foundations and principles of American national government; Constitutional principles, functions, and administration of American national government, Congress, the Presidency, the Supreme Court, and the U.S. political system. Prerequisite(s): Completion of all Learning Support competencies for writing and reading. Note: POLS 1030 meets the requirement for a Social Science elective.
