PHIL 1030 - Introduction to Philosophy* (Honors Option Offered)
3 Credits 3 Class Hours
An introduction to the historical roots and basic problems of philosophy. Topics include metaphysics, epistemology, and value theory (ethics, aesthetics, social/political philosophy) along with the major figures of Western philosophy. Prerequisite(s): Completion of all Learning Support competencies for writing and reading. Note: PHIL 1030 meets the general education requirement for Humanities.
