NURS 1250 - Fundamentals in Nursing Clinical

3 Clinical Hours, 9 Contact Hours/Week

This course introduces the nursing process and its application within the clinical practice area. This course incorporates components of a campus laboratory and clinical agency where students practice and demonstrate interviewing skills, obtaining a health history, basic physical examination techniques, critical thinking skills and documentation of clinical findings. In clinicals, students have an opportunity to apply patient care techniques taught in the classroom. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Nursing Program
