MATH 1730 - Precalculus*

5 Class Hours

A single introductory course for the preparation for calculus. Topics include an overview of elementary algebra, elementary geometry, introduction to trigonometric functions and inverses, vectors, introduction to complex numbers, exponential and logarithmic functions and equations, solving various types of equalities and inequalities, quadratic equations and functions, systems of linear and nonlinear equations, systems of linear equations, and determinants. Prerequisite(s): Initial Level 2 placement or higher in Math  or MATH 1000 .

Semester Availability: Fall and Spring; online format only.
