Notes:
- Students who plan to transfer to the UoM must complete at least one fine arts under the Humanities & Fine Arts general education requirement. Students are encouraged to take an approved Ethics course, if applicable.
- Students who intend to transfer to UoM should take LIT 2201 or LIT 2202 to fulfill this requirement. TSU also recommends a LIT sequence.
- ETSU requires a BIOL sequence: 1010: Intro to Biology and1020 Diversity of Life or 1110/1120 General Biology I & TSU recommends BIOL 1010 c APSU accepts Math 1510 or Math 1530.
- Students who intend to transfer to ETSU are required to take a Social Work elective. If not offered at a student’s school, such a course can be completed via the TN eCampus.
- Students interested in transferring to TSU should take an Economics course. UM and UTC require an Anthropology course.
- Students who intend to transfer to UTM should take BIOL 2010: Human Anatomy and Physiology I as an unspecified elective. Students who intend to transfer to APSU should take BIOL 2010 (Human Anatomy and Physiology) as one of their natural science electives.
Additional course requirements: The Tennessee Board of Regents requires that students either demonstrate the appropriate skill levels in math, reading, and/or writing before enrolling in college-level courses or enroll in appropriate co-requisite experiences with college-level courses to develop competency in those skills while performing college-level work. ACT/SAT scores, classic ACCUPLACER test scores, next-generation ACCUPLACER test scores, or other relevant information determine whether a student needs to enroll in co-requisite courses in math, reading, and/or writing (English).
