Notes:


  1. Students who plan to transfer to the UoM must complete at least one fine arts under the Humanities & Fine Arts general education requirement. Students are encouraged to take an approved Ethics course, if applicable.
  2. Students who intend to transfer to UoM should take LIT 2201 or LIT 2202 to fulfill this requirement. TSU also recommends a LIT sequence.
  3. ETSU requires a BIOL sequence: 1010: Intro to Biology and1020 Diversity of Life or 1110/1120 General Biology I & TSU recommends BIOL 1010 c APSU accepts Math 1510 or Math 1530.
  4. Students who intend to transfer to ETSU are required to take a Social Work elective. If not offered at a student’s school, such a course can be completed via the TN eCampus.
  5. Students interested in transferring to TSU should take an Economics course. UM and UTC require an Anthropology course.
  6. Students who intend to transfer to UTM should take BIOL 2010: Human Anatomy and Physiology I as an unspecified elective. Students who intend to transfer to APSU should take BIOL 2010 (Human Anatomy and Physiology) as one of their natural science electives.
  7. For students planning on transferring to UTK you will need 1-year intermediate level sequence in a single foreign language. A total of 7 credit hours are unspecified, transferable electives are needed to complete the degree requirements.

 

Additional course requirements: The Tennessee Board of Regents requires that students either demonstrate the appropriate skill levels in math, reading, and/or writing before enrolling in college-level courses or enroll in appropriate co-requisite experiences with college-level courses to develop competency in those skills while performing college-level work. ACT/SAT scores, classic ACCUPLACER test scores, next-generation ACCUPLACER test scores, or other relevant information determine whether a student needs to enroll in co-requisite courses in math, reading, and/or writing (English).
