Foreign Language - 12 Credits

(Two-year sequence in a single foreign language through the intermediate level or the equivalent; at this time, the only option at NSCC is Spanish. SPAN 1010 and SPAN 1020 are offered as on-ground or online NSCC classes every semester. SPAN 2010 is offered in the fall and SPAN 2020 is offered in the spring on ground with sufficient enrollment to run the course. Students may also complete SPAN 2010 and SPAN 2020 via TN eCampus in most semesters or by using the Reverse Transfer Process through TBR.)

ACT/SAT scores, classic ACCUPLACER test scores, next-generation ACCUPLACER test scores, or other relevant information determine whether a student needs to enroll in co-requisite courses in math, reading, and/or writing (English).
