An introduction to the art of the personal essay. Topics include critical analysis of a variety of personal essays from the 20^th century to today, crafting personal essays, critiquing peer work, and submitting a final portfolio. Prerequisite(s): Level 2 placement in English; Level 2 placement in Reading.
