COM 1240 - Design II 3 Credits 2 Class Hours, 2 Lab Hours
A continuation of COM 1140 that covers graphic design processes, techniques and terminology at an intermediate level. Topics include the history of design, logo design and an introduction to branding. Design projects require students to work through all design phases including concept, research, and final execution. This course is the equivalent to COM 1111 – Graphic Processes.
Prerequisite(s): COM 1110 , COM 1140 with a grade of “C” or higher. Level 2 placement in English and Reading.
