WELD 1381 - Fundamentals of Welding
3 Credits
2 Class Hours, 2 Lab Hours
Topics include welding safety, oxyfuel cutting, plasma arc cutting, air carbon arc cutting and gouging, base metal preparation, weld quality, SMAW equipment and setup, SMAW electrodes, beads and fillet welds, joint fit-up and alignment, groove welds with backing, and open V groove welds.
