SOCI 1010 - Introduction to Sociology*

An introduction to the study of society, social groups, and social interaction. Topics include culture and society, socialization, social stratification, minorities, education, religion, and social change. Prerequisite(s): Level 2 placement in English or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 1010 and ENGL 0815 ; Level 2 placement in Reading or concurrent enrollment in READ 0815 . Note: SOCI 1010 meets the requirement for a Social Sciences elective.
