A survey of American literature from the time of Colonial expansion through the Civil War period. Topics include works of significant writers of fiction, poetry, prose, and/or drama, and the relevant historical context. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1010 and ENGL 1020. Note: ENGL 2110 meets the general education requirement for Humanities as a literature course or otherwise.
