General Education Core Certificate (for A.A. and A.S. students)

This 41-hour certificate will enable students to complete all courses required for the general education core for the Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees. After earning the certificate, a student can earn an A.A. or A.S. degree by completing an additional 19 SCH in the intended university major. The student can transfer all credits to a university to complete the baccalaureate degree.

Communication Requirements: 9 hours of Writing and Oral Communication:
Writing Communication: 6 Credits required
Oral Communication: 3 Credits required (choose one)
Humanities/Fine Arts: 9 Credits, with at least one course in Literature
Social/Behavioral Sciences: 6 Credits
Natural Sciences: 8 Credits of Laboratory Science
