An introduction to the study of society, social groups, and social interaction. Topics include culture and society, socialization, social stratification, minorities, education, religion, and social change. Prerequisite(s): Completion of all Learning Support competencies for writing and reading. Note: SOCI 1010 meets the requirement for a Social Sciences elective.
