FIN 1110 - Principles of Banking (Formerly BNK 1110) 3 Credits 3 Class Hours
An introduction to banking services and functions, including loans, investments, and trust operations. Topics include basic principles of banking transactions and item processing, focusing on deposit and payment functions of banking, procedures and forms relative to opening accounts, cash and collection item processing, proof operations, paying and returning checks, and bookkeeping functions, internal controls and external regulations. Prerequisite(s): Completion of all competencies in Learning Support reading.
