EETH 2340 - Programmable Motion Contr.

2 Class Hours, 2 Lab Hours
Advanced course in solid-state controls for rotating machinery. Topics include programmable AC, DC drives, single and multi axis controllers, stepping motor controllers, the control of pick and place, continuous path robots, G-codes for programming of CNC equipment, encoders, resolvers, tachometers, synchros, accelerometers, and motion transducers. Prerequisite(s): EETH 1110
