A study of the role of the family, community and the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth of the child ages birth through eight. Topics include the benefits of, and strategies for, developing positive reciprocal relationships with families in an early childhood setting. Field experiences required. Prerequisite(s): ECED 2315 or department approval.
