CRMJ 2020 - Introduction to Corrections

3 Class Hours

Examines the concept of punishment and its form, functions, and enforcement throughout history. Emphasizes the operation, structure, clientele, and issues confronting the institutions, agencies, and programs encompassing the corrections system including jails, prisons, and probation and parole. Prerequisite(s): Completion of all competencies in Learning Support reading and writing.
