                | ACT 2160 - Environmental Control Systems3 Credits
 2 Class Hours, 2 Lab Hours
 
 An advanced-level course that explores the principles of climate control, electrical power distribution, lighting systems, and plumbing. Topics include heat loss/gain, HVAC systems, power plans, artificial lighting plans, day lighting, plumbing, alternate energy sources, sustainability, green building practices, and ecological concerns. Students prepare HVAC, lighting, electrical and plumbing drawings for a small commercial project utilizing BIM (building information modeling) software. Prerequisite(s): ACT 1161 ,  CAD 1650  and MATH 1710
