ACT 1100 - Interior Design 2 Credits 1 Class Hour, 2 Lab Hours
An introductory course to the profession of interior design, its relationship to allied fields, contemporary development, and philosophical approaches. Topics include design concepts and schematic design, application of concepts to a design problem, developing a floor plan, interior elevations, furniture and finishing a schedule and materials sample board. Each student will prepare schematic drawings, floor plans, and interior elevations by traditional hand-drafting methods.
