An introduction to the systematic study of society, social groups, and social interaction. Topics include an overview of social institutions, culture, deviance, social control, socialization, social stratification, and social change. Prerequisite(s): Level 2 placement in English and Reading. Note: SOCI 1010 meets the requirement for a Social Sciences elective.
