MST 1500 - Live Sound Production

3 Credits
2 Class Hours, 2 Lab Hours

A practical course in live sound production. Topics include electrical safety procedures, signal flow, loudspeakers, live console operation, front-of-house and stage monitoring practices, critical listening, live event procedures, troubleshooting, sound crew roles and duties, and system maintenance. Students provide live sound support for select events. Prerequisite(s): Instructor Approval Required.
