PHIL 1030 - Introduction to Philosophy (Honors Option Offered)
3 Credits 3 Class Hours
An introduction to the historical roots, major figures, and basic questions in Western philosophy. Topics include logic and critical thinking, epistemology, metaphysics, metaphysics, ethics, social/political philosophy, philosophy of religion, and aesthetics. Prerequisite(s): Level 2 placement in English or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 1010 and ENGL 0815 ; Level 2 placement in Reading . Note: PHIL 1030 meets the general education requirement for Humanities.
