OTAP 2210 - OT Int. and Tx: Peds 2 Credits 1 Lecture Hour, 3 Lab Hours
Addresses limitations and obstacles to occupational engagement (self-care, play, school) for persons from birth to age 22. Common diagnoses, evaluation methods, and treatment environments are presented. Treatment for areas of occupation (ADL, IADL, education, work, play, leisure, and social participation), considering performance skills, performance patterns, client factors and context are reviewed. Students are required to develop applications for enabling function and well-being. Prerequisite(s): OTAP 1340 , OTAP 1350 , OTAP 1360 , OTAP 1370 , OTAP 1380 , OTAP 1240 , or by permission of instructor.
