ENGL 2030 - Themes in Literature & Culture (Honors Option Offered)
3 Credits 3 Class Hours
An analysis of significant primary texts as forms of cultural and creative expression. Specific topics are determined by the instructor and may include gender, the supernatural, film, comedy, Greek and Roman literature, mythology, Native American literature, Shakespeare, and Southern literature. Students may register for this course multiple times as topics vary each semester. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1010 and ENGL 1020 . Note: ENGL 2030 meets the general education requirement for Humanities as a literature course or otherwise. May be repeated for credit only if different theme.
