ENGL 2020 - Literature: Poetry and Drama

An introduction to the works of major poets and dramatists. Topics include major literary themes, historical/social events that influenced the writers, literary terminology, characteristics of literature, interpretation of literature, and analysis of composition and major literary themes. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1010 and ENGL 1020. Note: ENGL 2020 meets the general education requirement for Humanities as a literature course or otherwise.
