CITC 2349 - Data Storage

An examination of storage-attached network devices through enterprise-level SAN systems. Topics include virtualization concepts, fiber optics and twisted-pair cabling used to connect devices to a network, data center key elements, intelligent storage systems, storage networking technologies, various business continuity options, and security and management of a storage infrastructure. The Dell/EMC Data Storage and Management Academic Associate certification is administered as the final exam. Prerequisite(s): None
