MATH 1130 - College Algebra* 3 Credits 3 Class Hours
A traditional college algebra course for non-science majors. Topics include rational and exponential expressions, the concept of functions and their inverses, linear functions and equations including equations with radicals and absolute values, quadratic functions and equations, exponential and logarithmic functions and equations, graphs of basic functions, systems of equations, and inequalities. Prerequisite(s): Initial Level 2 placement or higher in Math or MATH 1000 .
