PTEC 1010 - Technical Chemistry

4 Class Hours, 3 Lab Hours
Technical Chemistry utilizes basic chemistry concepts and equipment to instruct prospective process control technicians and chemical operators in proper sampling methods, laboratory techniques, and process monitoring. This is an applications based course that emphasizes hands-on, practical exercises and experiences both in the laboratory and in an industrial environment. Prerequisite(s): DSPW 0800 , DSPR 0800 and Completion of all competencies in Learning Support Math or DSPM 0800 or equivalent skills.
