MTEC 2050 - Pipefitting I
4 Credits
3 Class Hours, 2 Lab Hours
Topics include pipefitting hand and power tools, oxyfuel cutting, ladders and scaffolds, motorized equipment, drawings and detail sheets, identifying and installing valves, threaded pipe fabrication, socket weld pipe fabrication, butt weld fabrication, excavations, and underground pipe installation. Prerequisite(s): Completion of all competencies in Learning Support Math or DSPM 0800 or equivalent skills.
