MATH 1410 - Math for Elem Education I 3 Credits 3 Class Hours
An introductory first course in math for elementary education, which is restricted to students majoring in Elementary or Early Childhood Education. Topics include tools for problem solving, sets and operations on sets, functions, logic, numeration system, algebra-based study of properties of and operations with whole numbers, integers, rational numbers, and real numbers. Prerequisite(s): ACT Math 19 and above or COMPASS equivalent, or MATH 1000 or DSPM 0850, or equivalent skills
