MATH 1000 - Foundations of Algebra 3 Credits 3 Class Hours
This is a course that is designed to prepare students to have the necessary skills to be successful in algebra-intense college level mathematics courses. Topics include solving systems of equations, performing operations with polynomials and rational expressions, analysis of quadratic functions and graphs, solving quadratic, polynomial, and exponential equations. Prerequisite(s): Completion of all competencies in Learning Support Math or DSPM 0800, or equivalent skills.
