EDUC 2010 - Foundations of Education

3 Class Hours
A study of the historical, philosophical, and sociological foundations underlying the development of American educational institutions. The role of the schools, the aims of education, and the role of state, local, and federal agencies will be included in addition to a required field experience. Prerequisite(s): DSPW 0800 and DSPR
0800 or equivalent skills Note: This course is part of the AST K-6 Elementary Education Degree.
