ECON 2010 - Macroeconomics (Formerly ECON 1111) 3 Credits 3 Class Hours
This course introduces and explores a variety of macroeconomic topics, including: aggregate supply and demand, market equilibrium, Gross Domestic Product, employment, income, prices, major schools of economic thought, fluctuations, growth, monetary policy, fiscal policy, the national debt, international trade, and international finance. ECON 2010 meets the General Education requirement for Social Sciences. Prerequisite(s): DSPR 0800 and DSPW 0800 or equivalent skills Note: This course is part of the general education core. This course is not a prerequisite for ECON 2020 .
