CPT 2460 - Advanced Topics 3 Credits 3 Class Hours
Investigates computer concepts and addresses emerging trends in computer technology. Stresses the latest computer security methods and procedures for maintaining a secure personal or business-computing environment for both wireless and wired networks. Team-based projects research and design networks that meet government standards, including servers, firewalls and protecting connected communications nodes from intrusion. Prerequisite(s): CPT 1510 or CPT 2410, CPT 2320
