ACT 1100 - Interior Design 2 Credits 1 Class Hour, 2 Lab Hours
An introductory course to the profession of interior design, its relationship to allied fields, contemporary development, and philosophical approaches. Topics include: design concepts & schematic design; application of concepts to a design problem; developing a floor plan, interior elevations, furniture and finish schedule and materials sample board. Each student will prepare schematic drawings, floor plan and interior elevations by traditional hand drafting methods.
