CHEM 1015 - Basic Chemistry

An introduction to chemical principles and concepts. Topics include properties of matter, elements and compounds, atomic structure, periodic properties, chemical bonding and reactivity, energy relations, organic chemicals and polymers, toxic substances, and environmental chemistry. Prerequisite(s): Completion of all competencies in Learning Support Math or DSPM 0800, or equivalent skills.
