EETH 2340 - Programmable Motion Contr
3 Credits
2 Class Hours, 2 Lab Hours
Advanced course in solid-state controls for rotating machinery. Topics include programmable AC, DC drives, single and multi axis controllers, and stepping motor controllers. Topics include the control of pick and place, continuous path robots, G-codes for programming of CNC equipment, encoders, resolvers, tachometers, synchros, accelerometers and motion transducers. Prerequisite(s): EETH 1110
