PHIL 2024 - Environmental/Animal Ethics

A survey of conceptual and ethical questions in contemporary environmental philosophy. Topics include factory farming, animal testing, global warming, natural resource management, pollution, and philosophical debate over the significance of key concepts such as person, value, and right. Prerequisite(s): Level 2 placement in English  or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 1010  and ENGL 0815 ; Level 2 placement in Reading .
